Okay so I just got my iPod Touch about 1 month ago and it's been in a case ever since. I just took the black rubber case off of it today and I noticed that I had some scratches and a small area where it looks like the chrome paint had actually come off. Is there any way I can fix this?

It's the back of your ipod, seriously who'll ever look at the back of it. Put a cover over it and you'll never see it again.

Its either polished alloy/metal or chrome plated. chrome plating would flake off but you would have to it it pretty hard to get it started. polished alloys just dont peel ever.

I would be keen to see photos of it, because this smells like bullcrap

but if the chrome plating is coming off, assuming its chrome plated, this would be a good case for apple to have a look at.

As for it rubbing off... unless you used it as a skateboard for 40 mins on asphalt, i doubt it very much.

It's not paint on the back so like said above, unless your rubber case has razor blades in it or something it won't take the chrome off.
