    Well the title says everything.
I was wondering for those who play guitar, it will be asome to be able to put Tab/Chords to your iPod Touc, like the Lyrics.app but specially for chords/tabs.

    Some ideas?

ohh sh*t you mean like when your listening to a song on your ipod, you can use the app to bring you the tabs for that song??? thats a super awesome idea!!! Also the app could double as a chord book, so if you wanna learn how to play b7, then you search it up on the app and it shows you how to play it, and how it sounds on a electric and acoustic guitar.

a simple text tablature or chords. Something Simple. as a source can be "Ultimate-guitar.com"

That would Kick Ass. Doing the Chord Book wouldnt be so hard. I guess the hard part would be making an interface to show you the tabs for songs.

    why bother?

why bother, most guitarists ahve tabs printed out to carry with them. but a chord lookup app sounds pretty sweet.

I made the guitar chord application from modguitars.com available offline. Works really well.

thats awsome, how did you do it?

also if they make an app it should save the tabs for offline when away from wifi. otherwise its pretty easy to just look them up at ultimate-guitar.com or 911tabs.com

Sometimes you have to dig deeper and modify files to get things working offline. Anyways, i've made it available for download on my blog. pm.
