    Hi,

I have an Ipod touch 2g firmware 2.2.1.
I am developing on windows with Cygwin. My apps compile fine with
    arm-apple-darwin9-gcc (tried arm-apple-darwin-gcc as well)

    I transfer the app MyExample.app to root/Applications
    I then run:

    chmod -R 0755 /Applications/MyExample.app/
    (tried MyExample.app/MyExample as well)

    ldid -S /Applications/MyExample.app/MyExample

    quickload -ln MyExample
    (tried quickload --reload-all)

But my apps still open briefly then close. Is it possible to verify an has a valid codesign?

    Thanks

    Yes, I login as root.
My output from quickload --reload-all is

    ------------------double post merged------------------
    Just an update....
I found this app on another thread (http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93024)
    http://www.touchrepo.com/SampleCode/New.app.zip (credit one Skylar)

    which Transfered, compiled, ldid'd....worked.

while all my other examples hadnt.

This may be my issue. I will look into it
