so guys, will you chip in $ for the dev team so we can use our apps? or do you think developers/hackers will find a way to get it on the ipod anyway?

They will get in, As I've said before, Programmers are Hackers themselves, just that their correct term is "programmer"

Wait so do you need to have the SDK itself to get the developed apps?

No he's just saying we give them money the $99.00 so they can give us the free apps they create.

If he's indeed talking about chipping in for the $99 to make the apps free I'd be more than willing to do this hell, I'd do that and make a donation to them off site and away from apple as a accounting issue keeps me from wanting to give apple any more money than I have to

I'd much rather foster and help in this community that we have

I dont think a dev will take $99 instead of charging $1-2 for an app. $99 is nothing...less than 2 hours pay for these devs most likely.

I dont mind demos and then $1-5 costs for simple apps.

I want Outlook notes and tasks syncing more than anything
