This is a discussion thread for the "Check Out Apple's New TV Ads For iPhone 5" story posted on the front page.
They are all bullsh*t but will work anyway. The thumb argument Apple keeps using is completely irrelevant, not just because people have different sized hands, but also because you don't hold the phone resting parallel to your fingers. Therefore the comparison is just wrong. The second one is just f***ing stupid. It doesn't take a genius to realise Apple hasn't broken the laws of physics by increasing the screen size while reducing width. And they also refer to both features of the phone as the same thing which is just wrong. But that's being probably too literal. Last one is the worst and most irritating. No one cares about a native panorama feature that was so long overdue it was added to the satanic list of smartphone features Apple fanboys never mention. (This is just for the people stupid enough to not realise panorama apps have been on the appstore for 3+ years). Bring on the flaming torches and pitchforks.
