I was just checking Cydia and someone has fixed MobileMusicPlayer Flip in order to work with spotlight and not give errors while selecting songs. (modmyi repo)

Also there is a no spotlight icon from modmyi repo.

this works fine in 3.0 with spotlight... and uses winterboard... but it still isn't 100% ok... whenever I select this in winterboard, i lose the Wallpaper option in the setting app.

I suggest the MobileMusicPlayer Flip 2.2.1 from the SOSiPhone repo by James Savage.
    1. It works perfectly on the 3.0 firmware
    2. It works perfectly with SpotLight on the 3.0 firmware
    3. It does not require Winterboard
    4. It does not change the SpotLight 'Search iPod' to 'Search Device'
    5. It does not interfere with/remove the Wallpaper option (or any other option) in the Settings app

been using it for 2 days... no issues whatsoever...

EDIT: my bad! spotlight does not work properly!

aahhh but the one from the SOSiPhone Repo has a legacy of not removing properly and needing plist surgery afterwards. I'd rather stick with doing things with winterboard

I installed the sosiphone mmpf and I had to apply a modified N45AP.plist into springboard app as it was looking for music and video and not iPod but I think at the same time I have lost my settings menu option for sounds and wallpaper :S supreme prefs will fix this but it's not really got all the 3.0 settings menus as you would see normally.

I'm using this SOSiPhone version with no issues... but I am also looking at creating a new MMP Flip or modifying the new winterboard one so that it works properly with 3.0....

I did not managed to get the Winterboard based MMP Flip 100% functional... becoz it causes problems with the Setting app... Wallpapers and Sound disappear... But I did update the Info.plist in the MobileMediaPlayer.app folder for the iPod icon for the 3.0 final firmware. It works fine... no issues with the Settings app, shows up properly in spotlight...

    Here's how you use this...
    1. Download MMPFlip_3.0.zip (attached)
    2. Extract the zip file. You will see an Info.plist file.
    3. Navigate to /Applications/MobileMediaPlayer.app (using SSH, iFunBox or DiskAid)
    4. Rename the Info.plist in MobileMediaPlayer.app to Info.plist.bak (keep a backup of the original file)
    5. Copy the Info.plist extracted from the zip file to MobileMediaPlayer.app
    6. Respring/reboot.

EDIT: my bad! spotlight does not work properly!
