My iPod Screen is scratched, not heavily but the main scratch can be felt when moving your finger over it. I find these scratches very annoying and I want to know if I can get it fixed for cheaper than £25?

they are quite minor scratches with the main one being maybe 5mm in length.
What about iDrops? Are they any good?

Just buy a new screen and replace it. A new screen is cheap on amazon and ebay.

Also, cnet tv has a video on how to replace the screen.

    Hope this helps.

Is it hard to do? Is there a big room for error? (ie.If I make a mistake have I destroyed my iPod touch?)

Not really, as long as you do things with care and patience.

It should take about 1.5 hours to do.

    Read this: http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-12519_7-10264939-49.html
And take a look at their video (on the same page).

As long as you follow these things, you should be fine.

Essentially, take YOUR TIME when doing things.

    After doing some quick research:
Replacing the screen will cost around $25 (tools and screen) from amazon.com--> seller Usmart store: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...ectronics&qid=1262461104&sr=8-4&condition=new

I am sure ebay, or other amazon seller has it for cheaper. However, this was a quick search on my end.

Be sure to look at the video on the link above, and you might also want to see a few youtube videos on it.

Over all, you want to see as many videos as you can, before you do the operation lol. Once you have seen a lot of videos, pick the best one and use it as guidance for the ipod repair.

    Hope this helps.
