    Hi there

Safari's charset seems to differ from apache's charset: I can access folders with special german chars (like ae, oe and ue) with the shell but i'm unable to access them with safari. Forlders w/o such chars work fine. So, any ideas?

    Thanks

Well, of course i know how to enter these chars. But the encoding of these non-7bit-ascii-chars within safari is different to the encoding the filenames on ipods flashmemory. Example: The filename is example-äöü.html. The it is stored as example-%xx%xx%xx.html (with xx = some hex values). But if i enter example-äöü.html as URL in Safari, i get a 404 telling me example-<some weird stuff>.html is not availiable.

So telling me how to enter german umlaute isn't the solution...
