Hi guys I just unpacked my new 2G ipod touch 16gb.

Is it true that i have to first charge it completely, let it die, charge it again, and let it die for a couple times so that the battery will strengthen?

or is it just a rumor?

    thanks.

That'd damage the battery. Just charge it and top it up every now and then. You'll be reet.

So should I charge it all the way right now? and then charge it more when it gets to like 20% or something?

You should charge it full the first time, then just use it like normal and charge it every so often when it gets down to 50%, there are a lot of "methods" to save battery, but they don't really effect it THAT much...
