Hi, ive noticed my iPhone 4 has not been charging to 100%.

I'd put my phone on charge over night and when I wake up in the morning it stops charging around 93, 94, 97 or 98% but still has the electicity bolt in the battery icon. To get it to 100% I have to unplug my phone then plug it back in.

Then it goes to 100% but still shows the electricity bolt in the top right (no matter how long its plugged in for). I have to then unplug and plug it back on charge a few times for it to show the plug symbol to say its full charged.

I've done the obvious and rebooted the phone, reinstalled the firmware and let the battery run empty and charge it back up.

It did stop doing it for a while but its come back now.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I could do to fix it or any suggestions?

I'm using a wall charger and not charging from a USB port.

    Thanks in advanced!

Let the battery fully drain then charge, this recalibrates the meter thing

Shouldn't really be a problem. Take it back to apple if ur worried about it.

Yeah I might have too. I just don't want to leave it too long and it is the battery that's faulty and the warranty runs out and I can't do anything about it.

I might fully drain the battery again and try a different power adapter and see how that goes?
