    Welcome to iPod touch Fans!

I believe that the Altec Lansing InMotion is only for iPod nano and iPod classic.

Have you looked at the Satechi iPod docking station?

thanks for the welcome, kiks. we checked out the satechi, my daughter prefered the altec lansing.

i have been able to find out by reading reviews on the altec, that although it will play using the Ipod touch, it does NOT charge the Touch GEN 2.

i couldn't find any charging info on gen 1.

edit: the altec lansing DOES charge ipod touch gen 1 and it is portable using rechargeable batteries.

    iM600 iPod Touch 2nd generation

I just received a 2nd Gen IPod Touch to go with my 1 yr old Altec Lansing iM600. The music works, but the iPod shows a message saying charging does not work with this accessory .

Do others have this problem? It worked fine when charging a classic.
