Can i charge my ipod touch on my linux operating system? please help?
yes, as long as its plugged in to amy electricity source it works
Why wouldn't you be able to?
simple. plug it in. if it works GOOD JOBBBB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why didn't you TRY before you asked?
i dont think you even need an OS to charge your ipod.... as long as it has a usb port
Some USB controllers might be activated by OS drivers :> but most usb port are connected directly to 5V power source, or even 5VSB that makes usb active even if your PC is turned off (Ofcorce AC must be pluged-in). It all depends on your MB model
While the OP should have just tested this before hand, he or she may have been deciding whether or not to switch to Linux, and this was one of the factors. It's pretty valid too. I remember the Motorolla Razr phones wouldn't charge in Windows machines without the drivers being installed.
just remember that iPods charge with any electrically powered USB port, A.K.A. a Wii, PS3, Xbox360, COMPUTER
iPod needs a driver only for USB Flashdrive mode and iTunes sync
