Changing your start up image

    How Can I edit my startup image.

    I like the apple that comes up, BUT....


    I want it to say "Danny's Custom iTouch" under the apple.

    Please and thanks.

    As far as I know the only way to change the start up logo, is by restoring your iPod and then changing it then. The image is written into the firmware, it is not as simple as changing a .png. I personally do not think it would be worth it. Maybe it will be easier some day, but until I see no point in going through the trouble.

    Yea thats true,

    i have a hacked psp, and i actually develop custom firmware for the psp.

    In the case of the psp, you can access the system files and edit them.

    Maye someone can make an app to edit the flash files?

    Known as creating a boot logo. Only works for MB 2nd gen and 3rd Gen old bootrom iPhones. Use Redsn0w or Sn0wbreeze.
