I know the Europeans introduced noise restrictions on the Touch. Just wondering if Canadians are subject to this as well. I want to bypass the volume restriction. I am watching movies at full volume and still barley audible. The volume for the movies seem just fine on my computer and when transfered to DVD.

I see this post http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6886&highlight=volume+restrictionregarding modding the settings however I can't seem to find the celestial.frameworks anywhere when I SSH or use iFile.

    any help would be appreciated!

I'm pretty sure Canadian iPods don't have any restrictions.

There is a Volume Boost 3x on Cydia. But be warned that the speakers were never meant to operate at that level, and you could very well blow them out.

tried it. didn't work...odd. but it seems like most others that reviewed it said it didn't work. Maybe it just means there aren't restrictions on CDN ipods.

None of the volume boosters I've used on my MC 3G 8GB model do not work. I'm from Canada.
