Is it possible to do it in 3.0? I have my non-activated iPhone 2G that says "No SIM" in the corner. I have tried MakeItMine, but it didn't work. Any help?

yea you can change it. find the springboard strings and edit the "NO_SIM" key. forgot the exact location of the strings.
