Changing permissions without winscp?

    i use diskaid to ssh onto my ipod, winscp didnt work for me. is there a way to change permissions on the folders so that i can play PSX without winscp or another program like that?

    I dont know much about this, i might be wrong.

    go into mobile finder, choose the application you want, press modify, and then set the permissions from there. you do that by selecting, and unselecting the blue buttons(forgot what they were, dont have my touch be me)

    You need to use a Unix command to change permissions and thus a Unix terminal based application or program, i.e. either WinSCP's internal terminal prog, MobileFinder or by inputting commands using MobileTerminal.

    You can use MobileFinder; just select the file, and then click modify.

    If you want to use MobileTerminal, it's
    Code:
    chmod 777 /Path/Path/
    Obviously Replace /Path/Path with the, well, path.
