right click onto the folder/file and go to "properties". You'll see a "permisson box" towards the botton; make sure it has "0755"

Make sure that it is set recursively, which means that all the files in the folder have 755 permissions.

My first post! I figured out everything with the search button and now know my way around the ipod files pretty darn good and have made my own themes, icons and all. The 755 question made me look at my .png's. In the summerboard/themes folder for themes i got through installer they all say permissions octal 0644. I am using Winscp for client FTP. I have zero problems with all my apps, themes and the like so can somone tell me what I am seeing wrong or what they think about my 0644?

Quick question. Is there any other way to change the permissions without winscp? Like an application for the touch or something because i have problems connecting with winscp.

Thanks for the reply. So does that mean i'm changing the permissions to 0755?

EDIT: It does, thanks for the help.

EDIT: Even though i changed the permission, i still get the black screen on the gameboy emulator. Anyone know why?
