you can do it with mobile finder, select the file, then modify and thert you can set the permisions. Other way is in term vt100 with chmod. If you dont know how it works you can easily find how in google.

Once in Mobile finder, I select an App, and then push modify, but then what do I do to change permissions? Thanks

If you want to break it down Barney style, just install FINDER on your piece.

Yes i'm having the same issue with permissions not saving after modifying. I have tryied squid and finder to change the permissions of the iphysics but everytime that i change them and go back into them they haven't changed. I'm running the jb 1.1.3. I was trying to fix my iphysics to read the other boards and I'm aware that there is a fix on the installer but i get an error running it. telling me the executable failed. Any help would be great

Guys, the safest and easiest way to change them is with Term VT-100

If you dont have that program on your touch, look for it in the installer

When you get it, this is what you type:

    chmod -R 775 /Applications/*

JUST like that! It will set all your permissions in under 2 seconds!!!

    Then just respring

just to change file name and open with
i can see file properties and it tells me permissions but i cant change it
