Will it not change for you when you apply one from there?

If so, SSH in and delete /var/mobile/Library/LockBackground.jpg and the re-apply it.

Not if you have frozen wallpaper and a stuck /private/var/mobile/Library/LockBackground.jpg with insufficient permissions for being changed by anyone other than root, it doesn't.

I'm having a similar problem, my lockscreen wallpaper and just regular wallpaper wont change unless I apply a theme. I want to change it to one of my own wallpapers I downloaded. I've heard about this delete lockbackground.jpg but how do I get to that? I got my iPod a couple of days ago and I jailbroke it yesterday. I'm a noob
