How do I make the itunes music library to another drive (its a partition)?

I've already changed the directory to D drive, but when I add ipod touch applications or songs (via dragging to itunes window), it still adds to the original C drive location.

Any idea how to tell it to stop adding it to the c drive location and the new d drive location instead?

Did you change where iTunes stores crap in the preferences?

I think you need to put the whole itunes folder on the new portion, not just the itunes music. The folder that have all the artwork, apps and playlists. Not sure where it is on windows.

Once you have it there open itunes preferences/ advanced and change the music location to where you put it. Now quit iTunes and (this part I can only tell you how it works on a Mac) open itunes again this time hold the option key (not sure what that is on windows) and a box pops up asking you to select you itunes library. Select the one you moved. Make sure its the itunes folder and not the itunes music folder.
