Changing "iPod" on the status bar?

    or create a theme with two graphics in the com.apple.springboard area if you don't want another program. The file names are FSO_CARRIER_IPOD.png and Default_CARRIER_IPOD.png.

    MakeitMine is the easiest solution.

    Anybody can install MakeItMine in Cydia? It says Source Error POSIX: Connection refused

    Are you sure this works on 2.x? It seems it does not for me...

    Extended Preferences is way easier. Install it and then go to Settings then at the bottom you'll see Springboard and the rest should be even easier.

    Yes maybe, its actually like MakeItMine (but more functionality) but if you replace the png file you can have a little pic or text in ANY font and color up in the statusbar, i.e. an Apple (like in Mac OS in the left upper corner).

    If you just want to change the text without any specific color or font then use Extended Preferences, but if you want more..then replace the png...which has not worked for me yet ( but I remember it did on 1.x!)

    thanx..MakeItMine works fine but i got error when downloading extended preferences.
