Ok so I am adding on to one of my apps, and I am adding an option to push a button and it opens another window, and in there is an text box, and when you click in that box it opens the keyboard, and you type in x.x.x (firmware version) and it changes SystemVersion.plist to say what you typed. Is this possible?

Yes, and similar to the applications i am currently making, "Firmware.app", which changes the version tag. You can load the data from the plist and save it as a string. From here you can edit certain parts of it such as the firmware tag and save them right back to the plist. I will most likely be including a user input selection as well.
