    ok friends i have an idea but idont have an itouch now!so please test my idea .

    as i know there is no way to setting a custom eq or changing bass and treble .and i know that we cant creating a custom eq on itunes then setting our songs eq to our custom eq then storing it to our ipods and we just can set our songs eq to that 20 TRASHY eqs in itunes then storing it in ipod touch and set the ipod eq on flat and listen to that sh*t present eq.

    so i have an idea . click on view in itunes ,then show eq , create your eq but name it Acoustic (dont forget capslock) or one of present names then the software asks: you want to replace it ? and you say yes. that trick helps to change a present eq to what you want . then right click on a song and go to info then go to options and set eq present to acoustic( or the eq that you replaced it .) then store it to ipod touch and set the eq on flat
    i think it will works . so please test it and let me know it works or not .
    sorry for my bad english .

    Actually there is a equalizer on the itouch, its under setting, and music. I use the bass booster for in my car and at home and the, loudness mode for the headphones.

    I wish they make an update for EQ so we can edit dB on the iTouch.

    The OP is talking about a custom EQ (where you can make your own by messing about with faders)

    The EQ on the iPod only works with presets.

    Equalizer = Devil.

    Preset EQ - means Apple has set it, not you. Acoustic, Bass Booster, Loudness, Bass Reducer, Rock, Pop, Classic, Jazz etc. < All Presets.
