I have installed Pwnage on my 2.0 iPod. I am trying to utilize custom boot and recovery logo screens but every time I do I get the following msg from the Pwnage Tool:

"Sorry, but that doesn't appear to be the proper png file"

I have been trying to change the image with a number of different logo screen images that I have downloaded from the boot logo thread.

What can I be doing wrong?

    Thanks

I don't think it works. I made images un100kb of proper size with RGB and and Alpha layer and they still dont work

I got it to work. The image must be smaller than the standard wallpaper size. I selected an image 284 x 419 and it accepted it. Size was 44kb.

They have a lot of bugs to work out. I just went back to stock 2.0 firmware and will wait this out. Other than custom logos there is nothing this does for you at the moment.
