Hey guys. I was just wondering if this was possible without using any tools (I mean, like if i could just SSH it).

I saw a video in which one could change it with RedSn0w, but wouldn't that change my Spirit jailbroken Touch into a thetered jailbroken touch?

    Thanks!

As of now, it's not possible on a 3G iPod Touch...

U cant, because spirit is a Userland jailbreak not a bootrom exploit. This means it boots normally and you cannot change boot logos and stuff

Even if this was possible right now you couldn't use SSH. You would need to rejailbreak it.

If you really want a boot logo, downgrade to 3.1.2 & use Redsn0w.

    or

Draw the new logo on your screen with a sharpie

You should really pay attention to what device they have. Your telling him to do something that wont work.

I don't really trust the device information thingy on here, some people put stuff there that isn't true.

No, apparently you can't do that.
