iOS 4.0 changed my root password.. now cant SSH

    I dont know what happened, but I changed my root pasword via mobileterminal and now when i try to SSH into my iphone it doesnt work

    ive tried searching for a fix, but nothing. im on 4.0.1 using cyberduck.

    Which version of mobile terminal did you use to do it?

    4.26 probably because no other version works for iOS4.

    Ive even changed the password back to alpine in mobile terminal... but cyberduck says 'connection refused'

    That's not a password problem... Try reinstalling OpenSSH.

    Are you sure you're on the same network? Download Speed Test from the App Store and go to Settings and type the internal IP address in WinSCP session then type the username and pass.

    I changed my SSH password easily by using the RockApp..
