    Well I'm making a theme...
    Going well.
    But I need to know...
Can you change the amount of space there is between the icon and it's label?
Or can you make it so only the icons in one row have maybe the color yellow as their label color while the other 3 rows have red?
Are either of these possible and how?

You could, if you care so much, increase the size of the icons and add text onto them but leave most of it transparent, this gives the impression of varying app names but really its just part of the image. Not sure if it's possible any other way.

Found this in the Info.plist file in some themes directory. Have not tried it, but looks about right.

    Code:
    <key>UndockedIconLabelStyle</key>
    <string>color: grey; font-size: 13px; font-weight: bold</string>

    <key>DockedIconLabelStyle</key>
    <string>color: grey; font-size: 13px; font-weight: bold; position:absolute; top:-2px</string>

    <key>BadgeStyle</key>
    <string>font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; color: #ffffff; margin-top: 3px; margin-left:-1px;</string>

    <key>CalendarIconDayStyle</key>
    <string>color:transparent; font-size:12px; margin-top:0px;</string>

    <key>CalendarIconDateStyle</key>
    <string>position:absolute; color:grey; font-size:48px; font-weight:bold; position:absolute; top:-5px; left:0px; text-align:center;</string>

    Hey soka,
The label is fixed where it is, so there's no way to get that up or down. You can vary the fontsize ofcourse.
If you downsize your labels font and also make your icons smaller than default then the result will be that the gap between them increases right?
As far as I know theres no way to differentiate rowlabel colors, a format string can be given for all undocked or docked labels
