Alright my friend got an iPhone the other day and he is not able to install anything. He needs an iTunes account, but when he tries to install something it says enter the password for "blank@hotmail.com". He does not know the e-mail it's asking the password for, and it's not sync'd to the iTunes on his computer. How can he change this so it's his e-mail?
He took it in to Rogers, and they said to call Apple.

you probably tried restoring and clearing all settings and files and stuff... i guess thats all you could do to make it forget... i think syncing is probably the best way...(apparently not possible) but did you call apple? they knowz the answerzz

A restore shouldn't really be necessary though. You should be able to just change it at any time.

    Plug it in...

    To do it:

    1. Create an Itunes account on your computer, or your friend's.
    2. Sign into that account in Itunes.
    3. Plug in your, or his, Iphone into the computer until it recognizes it. Don't sync it.
    4. Unplug it, than connect it to your wifi at your house.
    5. It should change the account automatically on your ipod to the one that was in your Itunes.
    6. If it doesn't, than idk what to do.

BTW, this worked for me when i tried getting an app from my friend that he paid for. I plugged my ipod into his itunes, i didn't sync it, and then i unplugged it, i connected it to his wifi and he typed in his password into my ipod for his account, and it asked me if i wanted to download the app again for free, because i was now signed into his account on my ipod, so i said yes. Now i have his app that he paid for, for free on my ipod and it didn't erase my other apps or restore anything.

I hope this works for you.

    Much easier way:

Just go to settings then touch app store. It gives you the option to change accounts...

Just go to the Settings app on your Springboard. You can change your account there. Just log out of that one and enter in a new one that you created with your email address.
