Change Passcode via SSH?

    I forgot the passcode to my ipod touch, I heard theres a way to unlock it without restoring, via ssh, true? and if so, How?

    if they havent fixed it yet you could plug it into itunes, then when it says "syncing" swipe it

    Yeah, I'm in the same trouble at the moment. You'll have to delete/rename the keychain, then respring and it should be fine. PLEASE NOTE: I Have NOT tried this by myself!!!

    Never mind, doesn't work on 4.x

    When I deleted the keychain file from my iPod via iFunbox it really messed my ipod up.

    1- It didnt remove the passcode.
    2- It corrupeted all my push notifications.
    3. Half of my apps wouldnt load data from the internet.


    They were fine before I did that- So I don't recommed you do that.
