Hi. I saw one of my friends iPod Touch and he changed it so that instead of getting a 4-digit password, he got a letter password. He types in a word or something and its unlocked. He won't tell me how to do it. Anybody now how to do this? He has a 8gb 1st gen Ipod Touch that is not Jailbroken. I have the same thing except it is JB.

He couldve just changed the image for the keypad into one with letters and tricked you into thinking he was putting in a word..

There's only one version of each firmware, and none of them are "enterprise."

    Sorry, but we have brains.

If the iPod is jailbroken, it might be possible.
But since it's not, there is no possible way that this is true, how about you ask him to let you TOUCH the letters in the "keypad".
