change music ACTUAL FILE names?

    i recently lost my computer data and had to ssh my music out. My library obviously reads the code, but the files are named NSLK and OQNF, its not a big deal, but i like sending music to my friends. how do i change the names? in a mass?

    There are programs that can rip the music from iPods. I use iPod Access for Windows, and I paid for it with the TrialPay system, so I got it free. There are tons of free ones out there too, it would just take some Google-ing

    when you rip it, is there DRM, and are the names normal?

    Yes, yes. Most (maybe all) programs rip the actual file, but read the iPod's database to match it with the correct name. Therefore, songs bought in iTunes will still be locked to an Apple account. I think that answers your question

    Do you use sharepod? I heard somewhere it didn't work with iPhone and iPod Touch, but I never tried it. I used it on my old iPod and it was good, so that's why I'm wondering
