hey i was wondering if i cud use the area where the time is displayed on my lockscreen to something else. perhaps my name or a nickname? if this is possible can some1 give me detailed instructions, ive seen it done on a couple screenshots but im nto sure if they just photoshopped it or if there was a legit way of doing it

Hmmm..that would be kool, there might be a way, but I don't know of one.

But to change the font, you go to: system/library/fonts/cashe - LockClock.tiff
So maybe it's around there..??? IDK

To remove the time go to /System/Library/Fonts/Cache/ and replace LockClock.ttf with the one attached

For the date go to /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/DateFormats and replace en.plist with the one attached

Now to get your name there you can do it several ways.

    1. use a custom wallpaper
    2. use a custom LockBacground.html
    3. use a custom LCDbackground.png

Very, very well done post, jimbeam!

You gave lots of information, even more than needed, and it helped me a lot.

    Great job!

Get Supreme Preferences from Cydia. You can change it with that.

Why would you bump a thread from over 4 months ago? This doesn't even have anything really useful in it (unless a person couldn't realize to do this)

I was mislead by the person who bumped it before I did.

I meant the person before you. I didn't mean to offend you in any way if you took it that way.

@C4NNIBAL: Haha, sorry, I just like giving positive feedback when somebody deserves it.

@SicKillswitch: He means the time on the lockscreen, not on the status bar.
