Hi everyone this is very obvious tweak to most of you I think but for those who havent noticed theres a image you can change to get rid of that ugly blanket background in your folder and on the multitasking-dock. So heres what I learned..

The image you can think of as sits behind the springboard you see, when you open a folder the screen splits to show the second background, the reason I say this is because when you change the folder background you also change the multitask-bg at the same time. In result your image requires these specifications.
-The image should be the size of your screen, if it gets wider the icons will stretch off the screen.
-also must be a png image, your iphones screenshots will save png images.

    ______________________________________________________________________________________________
    The instructions:

    1) change directory to/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app

    2) change the file "FolderSwitchBG.png" image to "FolderSwitchBG1.png"

    3) name your new image "FolderSwitchBG.png" and move it to your SpringBoard.app folder, if you havent already.

    4) and respring

Thats it not too hard but I didn't see any tutorials so since winterboard dosent work still thought I'd let people know how to tweak that at least.

*BTW I have a idea you can try, your image you can try splitting the image so the multitasking-dock bg will be diffrent from your folders, but I havent tried it.

    Ugly blanket, please

I'm working on a wallpaper and would like to use the ugly blanket as part of it. Would you (or anyone) mind posting the image?

    Thanks!

Any one any idea how to get this to work in ios 4.1?
I had this working on 4.0 but since jailbreakin 4.1 it no longer works, installing a few from cydia has no effect either.
