Okay, I installed Daemon tools in order to mount a game on my windows 2000. It didn't work so I uninstalled it. I then wanted to transfer some stuff from my usb flash drive, so I plugged it in and waited. Then I get an error saying that i unplugged my 2 cdrom drives, like it was plugged into the usb... Now my cdrom drives don't work. Wth... Please help.

Umm. I do. It's my crappy computer in my room with no internet. It has an 80GB hard drive.. Lol. So I like to play games, although I can't now because of some stupid reason....

    Run regedit.exe

    Find this key:

Remove the values for UpperFilters and LowerFilters

    Reboot

    The drives should reappear

If all else fails try to find the drivers. A reinstall of them should force it to see the drives again. I had this problem once or twice myself. The drivers were an easy way to fix it.
