i have downloaded the app called categories and it launches and stuff
i put apps in it, it recieves them and the springboard hides them,
but the folders that "categories" shouldve created DONT show up in springboard at all.

I prefer Stack over Categories. cleaner, easier n more graphically enhanced. Never used Categories, but SBSettings n Poof should control what's hidden in SpringBoard.

First reboot. If it's still not there then check if there's enogh space on your home screen(s). Then check if its hidden in poof or sbsettings or bossprefs.
