All my icons are gone. All I can see is my dock and wallpaper. I can also access music with the home button shortcut.

I do not want to have to restore my ipod! What do I do? Someone help...

I am using Total Commander to SSH into my iPod Touch...

That's what happened to me. Unfortunately I had WiFi off and I couldn't switch it on to use SSH.

So, I had to restore my iPod and install everything again :S!

Try removing Categories or resetting the Apps to the Applications folder normally.

I had this problem..... now, if u have installer in your dock i can help u if not, im sorry

    1. open to installer
    2. install "DOCK"
    3. to the bottom of your screen there will be a little yellow flashing light, that is dock.
    4. Press and hold it so it comes out.
    5.Click on customize

-Dock is an application that shows all your apps, so just click on it and open customize through here and unhide all your apps!!!!

    .
One way to fix it is connect on ipod trough SSH oder FTP and remove the Categories Folder. Then download all applications which are not showed.
After downloaded them, remove them from you iPod. And then upload them again into you Applications Folder. Set ALL Permissions on 0777 or 777.
    Restart your iPod
It should work after this. (In my case it has work)
After restore your Apps de-install Categories.
I hope the bug will be fixed.... caus i like it to create Folders for a better overview.

Try connecting your iPod to iPhone PC Suite. You can access the filesystem from there.
