I have a massive scratch on the black part above the actual screen. I absolutely HATE it. Therefore, I'd really like a case that covers the surrounding black areas above and below the screen. I know that many silicon cases do, but I'm having a hard time finding a cool one that doesn't look cheaply cut.

I would much rather prefer a hardshell or a non generic looking silicon but any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

Those links didn't really help. I need a case that covers the big black rectangles above and below the screen.

    Thanks man!

Both of those cases are pretty cool but the speck case doesn't cover the top part.

Zagg's a transparent plastic film which won't hide the massive scratch. You may want to reread his post again.

I'd also suggest looking at either the Switcheasy Colors (which covers both parts, IIRC) or else one of those cheap silicone cases which covers everything save for the screen itself.

Another option is the iSkin Duo, which is one of those silicone cases which covers everything but the screen (and has a hole for the light sensor), but also comes with a plastic clip-on protector for the screen if you'll be carrying the thing in your pocket.

Just out of curiosity, would a scratch repair kit for a cd/dvd work to repair that?
