I have a 2G iPod Touch and my case sucks. Its all flexible and black.

I want a clear, HARD, see through case, I think they call them shells.

Much like the cases the iPhones have.

Dont mind buying online, Best Buy links more helpful.. but please.. just anything.

would you like something like this?

i know that you want something hard, but i really dont see why someone could possibly like something like that. they are truly horrible products, even the most expensive ones. they make your ipod look really weird and cheap and it scratches like no other. my friend had one for literally a DAY and the laser etchings on his ipod scratched it so bad he returned it. it looked horrible. his was 30 bucks.

the skin on the other hand is nearly invisible and mine looks great after around nine months. the only way i scratched it was with a q-tip when i tried to clean it. i can rub my fingernail across it until it hurts and see nothing on the skin.

Ivyskin retro is a good case in my opinion.

i just had a question, dont those cases get scratched really easily, scratch your ipod and provide minimal shock protection? i mean my friend got one and it was 30 bucks, so maybe the highest quality possible....after a day it was extremely scratched from the laser engravings, the case had horrid exterior scratches and since it was hard, if the ipod was dropped it would be just like hitting the ground....

silicone cases are soft, cannot get scratched easily and will nost likely not scratch your ipod. the soft rubber will protect a lot better, imo, against drops.

^^^ depends i got a casemate and it treats my ipod fine...

the silicone and the clear plastic protect about as much...

good points though, i just had a bad experience with silicone cases... lint magnets i call em... what i want though is a otterbox defender case... now thats a case that protects...
