cant view picture messages unless i save them

    iPhone 4 (Black)
    so i have an iPhone 4 5.0.1 jailbroken and when i receive a picture i can see it in the bubble but when i tap on it its just black unless i save it and view it in the photos app. Any ideas? i just recently restored and the samething is happening to my girlfrieds iPhone who is on the same plan.
