First of all, I am a registered Apple developer. I paid my $99 in November.

Whenever I try to update to 4.0 betas, iTunes throws me an error every single time. I UDID is registered and it still won't work.

Can somebody give me a hand here?

EDIT: I have a early 2009 iMac running 10.6.2 Snow Leopard.

What He Said^^ Apple screwed up and most(I have heard of SOME success) PC's wont restore to it.. Error 13 everytime.

Find a Mac, with a decent song library(So you don't get to bored) and try it there.

RoyalX, I'm running a Windows setup as well, and was wondering if you could provide a ipsw for a Ipod touch 2nd gen. I'd like to try upgrading, and this could be your confirmation as to whether or not its possible to upgrade with Windows.

Also, try putting your iPod into DFU mode.

I get stuck at the connect to iTunes screen on my phone. It restores 100% but it refuses to activate.

Activate? Explain.. You mean like with Apple? When it's "verifying" the restore?

your IPSW might be faulty :\ haha, my best guess..
