    hy all,
i'm new here, i bought my 2nd gen. touch last week and i love it!!!

however, i have 2 questions for you guys:

    1. Battery life should be this horrific? it lasts 2 days max!
after a full charge, i play some music and surf the web and the battery already loses 5%!
Is it just my ipod or its like that 4 everyone?

    2. for some reason i can't upgrade to 2.2.1 software update like i wrote in the title. the error message reads:
" The network connection timed out.
Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active or try again later."
i checked my network connection and it was just fine.
does anyone have an idea what is wrong?

    thank you in advance,
    Meni

Nope, i have a broadline connection which is always on.

Never had any problems with connection on any other program/app/messenger/etc.

I thought that it was a server problem or whatever at apple, but that note kept coming for over a week now.

Anyone knows what might be the problem?

im not sure about the connection but your battery might be defective. mine lasts up to 4 or 5 days with everyday use. if your neighbor has wireless internet try using theirs and update to 2.2.1 hope it helps

Go to Apple, and ask for a replacement.
