The safest solution is to simply do a DFU Restore.

If the problem still exists you're doing something to cause it.

I have the same problem, did (of course) DFU Restore (Multiple times) but that didn't work. It occurred after the jailbreak so I doubt about it that I or Tallbus1 causes it somehow.

Maybe is it a coincidence, but I used QuickFreedom too

In that case, yeah, QuickFreedom may be doing something.
I wouldn't know because I unjailbroke my iPod a while back.

Have either of you tried DFU Restoring and NOT using using QuickFreedom?
Just a clean iTunes install. If everything turns out okay, that's your problem.

You can't permanently ruin your iPod unless you expose it to water or physically damage it.

    A DFU Restore wipes everything.

    Just do a DFU restore

Then rejailbreak if you want with redsn0w 0.3?

Yeah, did that a while ago. Everything turns out fine, so it's QuickFreedom I guess... But I don't care actually
