I haven't tried updating any of the apps that I downloaded from the App Store in a few weeks.

Today, I realized I had 24 available updates, so I clicked "Download All Free Updates" instead of asking for my username and password and downloading the updates, I got a message saying "You can not update this software since you have not owned the major version of this software."

The apps with updates are a mix of free and paid apps. I downloaded them all legally, so I am not getting this message as a punishment for stealing.

Does anyone know what the problem is or (more importantly) how to fix it?

think it means the update requires firmware update
