Cydia fails to remove five icon dock every time I try! It says the removal was successful but it's still there! I really want to try the 6-8 icon docks!

Any way to remove it via ssh?

    Thanks!

Try uninstalling from Cydia, then shutting off your iPod.

Thanks for the help. I fixed it. There was some stupid package that some other obscure package depended on that failed to install and that was conflicting with uninstallations and blah blah blah.

Hey, I'm having the exact same problem, tried removing it in Cydia, SSH'ing and delting the file, and disabiling it in springboard settings. If you could tell me the obscure package that causes the problems, that'd be really useful, thanks

I did some Googling and solved it. It's a tweak that lets you have custom backgrounds on your springboard, and installs when you add Winterboard. It's called Desktop/SMS background or something, but if you go to 'Manage' in Cydia you can remove it, and then both 5 and 6 icon dock are removable. Just thought I'd say incase someone has this problem in the future and finds this thread.

Haha thanks for the forward thinking. Is this the thing called user wallpaper in winterboard?
