Well I used cyw00d to jailbreak it. It worked, I saw Cydia and Installer in there.

Then in iTunes... a screen "Set up new ipod" or "Restore from Your old ipod" showed up. I simply wanted my music back not my old restored settings... so I hit the restore from old Ipod.

It seemed like everything was going backwards.. the process took 15 mins.. and I assumed I un-jailbroke it. The screen went black, so I put it in DFU and booted it. After all that, I turn my Ipod on and Cydia and Installer are still there with my other applications + music.

Is my Ipod still jailbroken... or do I just have remnants from the jailbreak? Thanks

Did you think of maybe trying to open Cydia or Installer?

Yea they work. Are they only supposed to work with jailbreak?

I guess I'm confused about the whole restore thing... if my ipod is still jailbroken, was that whole restore thing only to get back my old music + apps?

If so, where's the "real" restore button?

Good job with the "iPod" talk... I'm pretty sure you are still jailbroken if Cydia is there.

If cydia and installer run, then it is still jailbroken.

Maybe you shouldn't of jailbroken your iPod if you don't know that you can only get Cydia and Installer on a jailbroken iPod Touch.

    Just my opinion.
