Today I did a factory reset and restore (to 4.0.2) as things were moving a bit slower than usual. Before doing so I sync'd everything, including my photos. Now though when I try to sync, music and apps go over fine but my photos won't.

I've tried various things, such as -

Deleting the iPod Photo Cache folder
    Moving the photos folder
    Going edit>preferences>device>reset sync history

Nothing seems to be working :-/

    Any ideas?

Also, while I'm here, 300mb or so is being eaten up by "Other". I don't know what "Other" is but when I only have about 200mb free on the iPod, 300mb is a lot!

    I'm running 4.0.2 on an iPod Touch 3G, Win7 64bit, iTunes 9.2.1.4.

    Ta in advance!

EDIT - Oh! One more thing. When using iTunes on my PC I can playback my music as dictated by playcount, so all the stuff I listen to the most gets played first. Is there a way I can do this on the iPod without making a seperate playlist?

I'm not jailbroken (updated to 4.0.2), so Cydia isn't on there. Permissions? How do I change those?

Permissions is something to do with SSH and Cydia, so ignore what he mentioned.

I think I've figured out the best solution for this.

Create a free PhotoBucket account on your PC/laptop (if you haven't already got one). Upload whatever pictures you wish to have on your iPod. Now, on your iPod, go to Apps, and download the free PhotoBucket app. Login to your account and all the pictures you just uploaded will be there to download direct to your iPod.

I just recovered over 40 wallpapers I thought I'd lost doing this.

My "Other" is still 300mb+ though

I heard about this problem from a friend of mine. Apparently, some of the 4.0.2 updates aren't working as they should. Does your background show up on your home screen?
