yeah i cant ssh into my ipod!!!

    im on 1.1.4
i was on a non-jailbroken 1.1.4 ipod then jailbreaked using ziphone..

i had openssh, i have services with ssh to ON, wifi ip address is correct username/password is correct, im on port 22! im using cuteftp i can assure you that everything you need to ssh is correct but i doesnt let me ssh!!! this is what happens when i TRY to connect...

"The remote host actively refused the attempt to connect to it.
    1) Please verify that the destination host name or IP address is correct.
    2) Verify that the connection port number is correct (under Site Settings | Type tab).
    3) The remote server may be temporarily or permanently inaccessible (try again later).
    4) Verify that you have chosen the right protocol (SSH2, SSL, FTP, etc.) and have setup all required options for that protocol."

then i click close and nothing else.... idk whats wrong... can someone help me?!? pleaseee....

    [ive searched but got nothing]

have you tried resetting your ipod? If I turn SSH off with services and turn it back on I have to restart

okay i just restarted and tried to connect, now, i get this error,

    "Can't connect to [My ip address]:22. SFTP21 error = #0."

idk what that means, it says this on the bottom like the status..

    STATUS:> [3/10/2008 6:52:05 PM] Getting listing ""...
    STATUS:> [3/10/2008 6:52:05 PM] Initializing SFTP21 module...
STATUS:> [3/10/2008 6:52:05 PM] Connecting to SFTP server... [my ip address]
ERROR:> [3/10/2008 6:52:35 PM] The file being transferred in ASCII mode appears to be a Binary file. Proceed anyway?
    ERROR:> [3/10/2008 6:52:35 PM] Can't connect to [my ip address]:22. SFTP21 error = #0.
    STATUS:> [3/10/2008 6:52:35 PM] SFTP21 connection closed.

idk what that means.. but how can i fix it??

were you able to SSH into your iPod before you jailbreaked 1.1.4?
for example you SSH-ed into your iPod while running 1.1.1. or other previous firmwares

Reinstalling the BSD and Openssh while also restarting the ipod seemed to fixed mine.

uninstall and reinstall ssh. Then turn ssh on, then off then back on again. Then reboot and try the exact same again. It should work from their. thats what I did and it worked on 1.1.3 for me.
