I just updated to 2.2.1 last night and jailbroke my 1st gen iPod Touch. I was able to use WinSCP to get my themes and important files out, but after I updated and re-jailbroke my ipod, I can't seem to be able to actually access any of the files on my iPod in WinSCP. I can ssh into it, but if I go to the Applications folder or the Themes folder, it doesn't work.

    Please help!

I've also restored twice, but it still doesn't work.

You can try re-naming the folders, put your stuff in and put it back to its original name.

Try watching a YouTube video on your iPod.
It may let it work better.
    It does for me

Also, make sure all the info is right (my IP changes, so yours could too)

Noob? I had the same issue as the OP but after I installed something from the App Store it worked.

    Miracle? or Noob Luck?

Did you re-install OpenSSH from Cydia?

In winscp go to the commands menu and hit clear caches.
