Looks like I got ripped off by apple, and the IPSW file was not DL to my computer. I completed the sale through itunes, and my ipod is updated to 3.0, but the file is no where to be found!

It's in a hidden folder. Are you on Vista, XP, OS X, etc.?

You could have just googled, where is my ipsw file located?

This is what I got when I searched. 3rd from the top.

If you still can't find it, restore. It should be added.

The Application Files folder is hidden because its to prevent people from messing around.

The Apple Computer folder isnt hidden.. its just INSIDE a hidden folder.

Just unhide folders and then search for the IPSW again. Have you even tried Start > Search.

Apple didnt rip you off... ugh..
