okay so i just STUPIDLY opened ziphone and clicked to jailbreak my touch.. but it was already jailbroken and filled with stuff

now when i turn on the ipod the apple logo shows.. it runs through a bunch of text (DOS style.. white text on black background) and stops at the line...

/bin/echo: write error (disk full?). Continue (y/n/^C)

:S i have no idea what to do.. i tried holding the usual reset buttons but it just does the same again

have i killed my ipod?! or is there another way to format/reset it?

    cheers

Put it in DFU mode and restore (You can do that by either using ZiPhones DFU Mode Function or follow all the instructions on this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v86AqK0VTB8 - which lets you restore with any firmware)

hope this helps, PM me if you need more help

You mean that it won't even get recognized in iTunes ?

If so, itouch93, I don't think ZiPhone's method will work.

The combination with the buttons to force it into Restore mode will make it recognizable through iTunes, and then ZiPhone will see it, too. Then you can DFU Restore it.

Have you tried manual DFU by connecting iPod, then holding down both buttons for about 10 seconds, then releasing the power button?

(Of course I'm terrible at timing so i just hold down both until the screen goes black, then let go of power. While holding the home button, I disconnect, reconnect, disconnect, then reconnect again).

    1. Press and hold the Stand-by button
    2. Before the Apple logo appears, press and hold the Home button
    3. After the Apple logo appears, release the Stand-by button.
    4. Wait up to 30 seconds.
    5. After the Connect to iTunes picture appears, you can release the home button. Your iPod is now in recovery mode.
